EOS Medicated Lip Balm in Tangerine: This is my go-to lip balm for pre-makeup, pre-lipstick, before bed, right when I wake up, and pretty much all damn day. It keeps my lips soft, heals cuts, and makes me feel safe. It’s basically Chapstick plus Neosporin all in one. I got it in my Christmas stocking last year (I’m 25) and have been obsessed with it ever since. 

Coconut Oil: When I want some heavy-duty lip moisturization, I usually just use some sort of oil. Whatever I have in kitchen (coconut or olive) or the bathroom (rosehip seed) will usually suffice. I’m really big on oils for cleansing and moisturizing, and my lips are no exception. 

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in Neon Red: I’ve talked about this lipstick before, but it is my all-time favorite lip color. It’s brighter than a classic red and it looks good on a pale or dark complexion. This shade is kind of weirdly versatile and I need another tube ASAP. 

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in Brazen Berry: Obviously, I love this Vivids line. The colors are bright and eye-catching, the consistency is smooth, the finish is matte, and the color doesn’t transfer during kissing and drinking. The color of the stick looks like a pretty deep purple, but it’s a really nice pinkish-berry color once it’s on your lips. For lipstick, I’ve learned to always buy a shade that looks a little too dark in the tube because it will be much lighter once it’s applied. 

Bare Minerals Moxie Lipgloss in Maverick: I got a tube of this in my Bare Minerals starter kit and I la-la-loooove it so much! It’s kind of like a pinkish, better-than-clear shade that lasts for like 2 hours on your lips. The tube is pretty large, and you only need a tiny dab in order to get a good amount of shine, so I really can’t imagine ever running out of this stuff. 

NYX Butter Lip Balm in Ladyfingers: This is the wholly grail of tinted lip balm! It does what a lip balm should and delivers the actual color of the stick. Ladyfingers is kind of a Barbie-pink shade that I wear all the time. A red hue from this line is up next on my list!
